Dusty’s got compost and a mountain of mulch, and he wants a backyard playground. Then a sold-out Zanies show where his old friend John Brennan turned up. Brennan got him to try stand-up in Charleston, and later got him to come back. The big one is a laid-off listener’s Southwest road-trip email, and Dusty’s advice: sleep in the car, Planet Fitness showers, sardines and an AirTag. Also: Westerns, Jack Kerouac, the Artemis II comments, and planting trees.
