Jason Kent Bateman (born January 14, 1969) is a celebrated American actor, director, and producer best known for his portrayals of Michael Bluth in the critically acclaimed sitcom Arrested Development (2003–2019) and Marty Byrde in the Netflix crime drama Ozark (2017–2022). Bateman began his career as a child actor in the early 1980s, appearing on shows such as Little House on the Prairie and The Hogan Family.
