Tuesday's with Stories

Tuesdays with Stories is a fun weekly podcast hosted by NYC comedians Joe List and Mark Normand. Mark Normand

Mark Normand (born September 18, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian and actor known for his sharp wit and expert delivery. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, he started performing stand-up in 2006 and quickly built a reputation with appearances on major shows like Conan, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Inside Amy Schumer. Mark has released acclaimed specials including “Out to Lunch” on YouTube, “Don’t Be Yourself” on Comedy Central, and “Soup to Nuts” on Netflix, and was featured on Netflix’s “The Standups.”

Normand is the co-host of two popular podcasts—”Tuesdays with Stories,” alongside Joe List, and “We Might Be Drunk,” with Sam Morril. Described by Jerry Seinfeld as “the best up and coming comic,” Mark performs internationally at clubs and festivals and has earned industry recognition such as Village Voice’s “Best Comedian of 2013,” and Esquire’s “Best New Comedians 2012.” He is currently based in New York City and continues touring with new material and projects.

Joe List

Joe List (born April 6, 1982) is an acclaimed American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for his sharp observational humor and candid self-reflection. Originally from Whitman, Massachusetts, List began his comedy career in Boston in 2000, just after graduating high school. He quickly rose in the comedy world, earning spots on major shows like The Late Show with David Letterman, Conan, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In 2015, he was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and landed his own half-hour Comedy Central special.

List’s well-received comedy albums include So Far No Good (2013), Are You Mad at Me? (2016), I Hate Myself (2020), This Year’s Material (2022), Enough for Everybody (2023), and Small Ball (2025). He’s featured in Season 2 of the Netflix series The Standups and frequently headlines clubs nationwide, remaining a regular at New York’s Comedy Cellar.

Joe co-hosts the popular podcast Tuesdays with Stories alongside fellow comedian Mark Normand, as well as Mindful Metal Jacket and Joe and Raanan Talk Movies. In 2022, he co-wrote and starred in the comedy-drama film Fourth of July, directed by Louis C.K., and in 2024 directed and appeared in the documentary Tom Dustin: Portrait of a Comedian.

In his personal life, List has been sober since 2012 and married comedian Sarah Tollemache in 2017. Known for his neurotic comedic style, Joe List continues to entertain audiences live, on screen, and through his various podcast projects.
