Dusty Slay (born May 18, 1982) is an American stand-up comedian known for his blue-collar storytelling style that draws heavily from his upbringing in a trailer park in Opelika, Alabama. He developed a relatable, optimistic comedic voice that often centers on his personal history, everyday life, and the humor found in working-class experiences.
Slay worked various jobs including as a pesticide salesman and waiter before pursuing comedy full-time. After several years honing his craft, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he became the youngest comedian to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage in 2019. His comedy has earned him appearances on major late-night shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as a Comedy Central special.
In 2021, Dusty appeared in season three of Netflix’s The Standups series, and in January 2024, his one-hour Netflix special Workin’ Man premiered, celebrating his life and comedic journey grounded in hard work and humor. He also hosts the Having a Good Time podcast with his wife, Hannah, where they share stories and life experiences with a warm, comedic touch.
